Nucs are Michigan mutts from overwintered stock. Treated in the spring for mites. 5-frame deeps with laying queen, brood and resources. I am a hobby beekeeper and sells splits in the spring to reduce/maintain my hive numbers. These genetics typically overwinter well, are strong honey producers and are relatively easy to handle.
